Swimming Carnival

What does our Swimming Carnival involve?

The Swimming Carnival involves a number of different swimming events held for the entire school. Students have a chance to qualify to represent the school in zone and compete against other schools.

The zone swimming carnival will be held on the 27th of February this year.

This is a normal school day and all students are expected to attend even if they do not participate in events.

Students are split into their houses and are to sit with their respective houses for the day. Teachers supervise the day.

When and where?

Our Swimming Carnival was held at Gosford Swimming Pool on Wednesday the 6th of February 2019.

Buses to and from the school have been arranged. Buses will depart at 9:00am (students should aim to arrive no later than 8:50am) and will arrive back at school in time for normal school buses.

Students who wish to compete in the 100m race must catch the first two buses.

What should I bring?

Students should bring water, lunch and sun protection. There is a canteen available, however the lines can be long.

Students are encouraged to dress up in their house colours to represent their team.

Students must bring $4.00 for the bus and $4.50 for entry to the pool.
