What is the Teacher Portrait Prize?
The Teacher Portrait Prize is a competition that is written into the year 9 Visual Arts program. All students enrolled in year 9 Visual Arts take part in the competition for a chance to win the prize of $100. There is also a special People's Choice Award.
Students select and interview a staff member from Terrigal High, take their portrait using one of the art department's specialty cameras and then complete a portrait depicting both a likeness and an expression of their personality.
