Life Ready focuses on offering opportunities for students to build the functional knowledge and skills for life after school.
Students at Terrigal High School participate in a variety of Life Ready activities including, but not limited to:
- Bstreetsmart
- Love Bites
- Travel Safe
Presenters for our Life Ready program have included:
- Tom Reynolds - drug and alcohol safety
- John Pidgeon - financial independence

The NSW Life Ready program is highly beneficial to students because it equips them with essential skills and knowledge for life after school. It focuses on real-world topics like financial management, health and wellbeing, respectful relationships, and personal safety. Through practical activities and discussions, students build confidence, resilience, and decision-making skills. Life Ready helps young people become more independent, responsible, and better prepared to face adult challenges, ensuring a smoother transition into further education, work, and everyday life.
